It's so convenient to have your necklaces hanging on the wall, rather than jumbled up in a jewelry box. This necklace and bracelet holder can be made very quickly using card board. It's another great way to recycle those boxes.
- Cut 4, 9-10 inch circles from a card board box. If you cannot get 4 complete circles, cut 1/2 circles from the box flaps. Place the 1/2 circles inside two complete circles to form a stack of 4 circles.
- Glue the circles together with a whole circle on the top and one on the bottom Use regular white glue or hot glue to glue the circles into a stack. Place a heavy book or two on top of the stack and let the glue dry.
- Cut a large square of fabric that will cover the stack over the front and sides. Bring the fabric to the back and gather it. Either, glue , tape or sew the edges together. Cut a circle of felt and glue it over the back.
- Put a couple drops of glue on each cup hook before you insert them into the jewelry holder. The bottom will hold 8-10 cup hooks. Add 3-4 cup hooks at the top, to hold bracelets. Sew a ribbon or cord to the top so you can hang the jewelry holder on the wall.
